Hi, I'm Linda, and yes, I definately used the "soft touch plus" photo shop button on this pic. As the owner at Rsvp by "me", along with the Park City mandatory shop dog, Milo (who tends to yap) mostly at men, I take your wedding and your event seriously. Well, actually, we tend to have a lot of fun during the process but ultimately the end products need to be perfect. It's your day, it's up to us to make sure your name is spelled correctly.
It's been almost ten years.. not sure how that happned, but here I am. I am proud to say that I still have my very first client as a client today.
Orginally The Shop was located in a small strip mall on Kearns Blvd, where we stayed for 6 years. that was followed by an 18 month stint at Redstone, "to check out the shopping center experience". Decided against it and landed on Main Street earlier this year, in the best location ever with some great partnerships (more on that later). This feels like home and I have no doubt that this was the LAST time I will schlep stuff around in the snow to move.
At Rsvp we firmly believe 100% that Invitations, no matter the occasion set the tone for your event, be it a Wedding, a Bar or Bat Mitzvah or a dinner party at your home. We actually have a motto...
The Celebration begins when they Open the Envelope!
We are not kidding. Being that the Wedding Destination business is big in Park City, you have to take into consideration what you are asking 100-200 people to do for you. Given that your parents and immediately family have to be here, your friends and other relatives don't, they may want to, but let's be serious, time off work, flights, hotel, 3-4 days of meals out and the list goes on. It is an expensive endeavor for guests. The Save the Date and ultimately the Invitation will tell them what kind of an event to expect. Formal, fun, casual, eclectic (think barefoot in the trees). You want it to say, "I want to be a part of this, this "looks" like so much fun, Let's Go". Lastly and I hate to say it, better invitations beget better gifts...
Imagine you sent an email or simple flyer for an invitation. Let's say that gets you a toaster that holds two slices of bread. A nice (and it doesn't have to be pricey) invitation suite, done correctly, with nice stocks, reflecting you and your fiancee', might just get you the four slice toaster WITH the bagel button.
Linda & Milo
What was I thinking!
How we started
I would be Milo. The #1 shop rescue dog. I am adorable with my one big brown eye. I may bark (or yap) when you come in, but I'm just protecting Linda. Not to worry.
I play fetch. I like long walks in the rain and kittens. I do love it at the shop because I think my mom has a store just so people can come by and play fetch with me.
